LABIG FESTIVAL 2008
May 1-11 Claveria, Cagayan North
celebrates their town fiesta with street parades, boat rowing competitions, singing competition, beauty pageant and OFW night among others. This year, 2008, there will also be search for Mr. & Miss Munting Mutya at Ginoo, open for all Grade 3 pupils.
The extensive use of Labig, the leaf of a palm tree known as Palma Brava grown abundantly in Claveria, for costumes is encouraged.
